Hey All You Summertime Bugs
Well, before I get started, let me just say to one of my dear little bugs that I promise this will not be another 18 paragraph email that will Bug you. . . maybe! Well in true Bug fashion, our Bugs continue to branch out and recently invaded the Keystone Games which were held in York, PA this past weekend.
We had some many Bugs running (wheeling) around that we infested BOTH teams. Yes, there were Bugs on both the East and the West Teams that played. All of the Bugs did a great job and I was proud of all the green Bug sticks that I saw which reminds EVERYONE, just who us Bugs are. The games were filled with great play, good sportsmanship and yes, even a lot of laughter as many were able to laugh at the performance of yours truly as I tried my hand at being a Goalie. Now let me say this, all you Bug goalies have nothing to worry about. If you don’t believe me, just ask the Bugs that were on the East Team trying to make sure that I did not face any shots. They had their work cut out for them for sure. No question we will one day rule the sled hockey world!
Many thanks to Ms. Birkmire, our East Coaches, Mr. Connelly, Mr. Shelton and Mr. McDevitt, and our own Bug Mr. Doyle for helping to pull it all together. It should be noted that our own Bug Jimmy Connelly won the MVP award, and Jason Clark scored his first goal. All good stuff for sure.
