Howdy all you bugs!

Well, first off, I got some really good news. WE DID IT.There now officially will be the first ever adult sled hockey league. The Northeast Sled Hockey League or NESHL has formed. As some of you know, I have been working hard on this and the hard work has finally paid off. Check out the official site for the league. We have dates set and there is some stuff already up there on the site. Please try and set aside these dates so that our Bug team will be able to overrun the place, and anything that is not a Bug. We now have something great to work towards as a team/program which will be the win the first season. I know we can do it.

As Mike and I have mentioned, we do plan to old some tryouts for what will be the Bug Team that will participate in this league and travel to most tournaments. We plan to set aside some of the dates that we have at the Pond to hold these tryouts. Those Bugs that do not make this team will be on our Bug Intermediate Team which we plan to still get into a tournament or two, and to play a few local games against NY and Connecticut. There will be plenty of Bug time for everyone. We hope to have more information out on this as soon as we can get a few very objective coaches lined up to assist with these evaluations. This is important because both Mike and I plan to tryout for the team just like everyone else and we want to have others watch us lust like everyone else. This way, those that are selected to the Travel Team will know that it was done as fair as we could possibly make it. Comments/ideas would be very much welcomed.

The Vineland Clinic is coming up and obviously we would love to see as many of you there as possible, however both Mike and I realize that there is a great deal of stuff going on and we do not want anyone to feel pressured about being at this clinic. If you can make it, that would be great. Remember, our clinic is open to all age groups and skills so all of our adults and even the Able-bodied players are welcome. As usual, summer ice is all around and we have many to thank. Try and get out to what you can, but remember that summer time is a great time to spend with family and friends near all that melted ice so be sure to keep that in mind

.For those of you that might need a little work on your sled, equipment, or other stuff, now would be a good time to get it done and let Mike or I know and we can help.Well, I think that about covers most of the stuff that I wanted to cover, so I will defer to Mr. Doyle to see if he has anything else to add.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer, or is it still winter, and really hope that everyone got great grades on your report cards.See you all soon.
